Hanwha Vision
The South Korean manufacturer launches its new SolidEDGE camera, which has a built-in internal solid-state hard drive that works as an embedded server.
Hanwha Vision also indicated that by using the new device, companies will be able to reduce the operating costs of security and surveillance tasks.
Serverless video surveillance
Another noteworthy feature of the new equipment is its serverless configuration, which significantly reduces energy consumption, eliminating the need to have separate servers in temperature-controlled data centers, with the consequent cost of electricity.
This consolidation of functions allows data and recordings to be captured without time lag.
Artificial intelligence
Thanks to Edge AI, the SolidEDGE camera can control and transmit metadata. This reduces the operational load on servers and minimizes energy consumption. This also eliminates common problems of power failures, caused by network overloads or exceeding storage capacity.
Video recorders with artificial intelligence (NVR) also improve the efficiency of data analysis, enabling the rapid identification and retrieval of relevant information. These results increase operational efficiency and significantly reduce energy consumption.
