Latin America. Resideo announced at the beginning of this month the launch of its new communication channel on the Telegram social network for Latin America. Said space, according to the organization, has the vision of connecting more directly with professionals in the security sector.
According to Resideo Latin America, this new tool seeks to provide professionals in the security, comfort and connected home industry, also called by the company as ''PROs'', to have easier and faster access to relevant information on their solutions by through this instant messaging channel.
An important fact in this regard is that Telegram was one of the 5 most downloaded applications worldwide in 2022, and to date it has more than 700 million active users per month, it is also a safe, friendly and free platform.
In this sense, Resideo bet on this social network, through the creation of its new Telegram channel, "as an innovative tool within the guild and which will allow you to share different updates with your community of PROs such as: product launches, training and certification calendar, online and face-to-face events, among other topics”.
Nathalie Bernal, Marketing Manager for Latin America at Resideo, commented on this: ''we want to be closer to our Professionals every day and we continue working towards that purpose. We continue to integrate new tools into our marketing strategy that allow us to be more connected''.
Thus, the new Telegram channel named Resideo LATAM, is open to all people who want to be part of it, but it has a great focus on the audience previously mentioned as the "PRO", among which are the technicians. installers, engineers, designers, contractors and distributors.
In this sense, Nathalie Bernal added that “this new communication channel is not only intended to inform, but also to encourage community interaction and participation through initiatives that activate this participation. Learning will be part of the added value that we bring with this tool. On the new Telegram channel, our subscribers will be able to test their knowledge through quizzes, participate in voting to choose upcoming webinars, training sessions, and participate in contests."
Finally, Resideo invited the PRO community to use these new available tools.
