Axis Communications held the most important and exclusive event for its main business partners, the Axis Partner Summit, which sought to bring together the channels of the region in a virtual and face-to-face way to talk about growth strategies towards 2022, reward those who stood out for their sales volume in 2020 and, above all, to stay close and strengthen the bonds of trust that unite them with their network of distributors and integrators.
The event was held on November 16 for Brazil and November 17 for Spanish-speaking countries at the Corona Forum in Mexico City, which was developed digitally and in person, in order to bring together the entire network of channels around Latin America. And under strict health standards, the Swedish company offered attendees an immersive technological experience, where they could once again strengthen the bonds of trust and strengthen their long-term alliances.

Fredrik Nilsson, Vice President of the Americas, said that 2022 will be a year of growth and opportunities for the security market, in addition there will be an accelerated increase in the demand for integral solutions, artificial intelligence and IP audio. He pointed out that there are more than 60 professionals in charge of the region to help the channels in the development of their projects and that they have the availability of the Axis Experience Center in Sao Paulo and Mexico to carry out demonstrations with their clients.
Heading into 2022
An important aspect of growth strategies is comprehensive solutions, it is an approach that offers a variety of products, tools and technologies to meet needs, mainly commercial. It means that customers will benefit from a complete security system tailored to specific demands, in fact, the central part of the solution is the video management software (VMS): AXIS Camera Station.
On the other hand, the demand generation structure and the scheme will be a reference focus to increase new opportunities. He commented that 2021 was a year where the channel network was strengthened thanks to its value wholesalers such as ABSA, Intcomex, Anixter, Grupo Dice and Ingram Micro.
For his part, Mauricio Swain, Business Development Manager commented that this year greater emphasis was placed on the incursion of an analytics based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and it is expected that by 2022 more than 30% of the products can count on this technology, which has also been strongly enhanced by the launch of the Artpec 8 Chip, designed primarily to offer new opportunities linked to advanced analytics applications, based on deep learning at the edge.
During the event, the company gave an important recognition to the partners who stood out for their participation in Axis' communication projects, to those who had higher sales volumes in integral solutions, as well as to those who developed large projects by regions. Leopoldo Ruiz sent a strong message to assure the channels that they have the support of Axis to develop and expand their business opportunities and invited them to continue training.
