Latin America. Johnson Controls announced that on May 27 it will broadcast the "Tyco Security Show", a live event for the Latin American security market.
The objective of this event is to interact directly with security professionals in the region and share the latest news about the brand's portfolio of products and solutions. The broadcast of this event will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (Colombia time).

The company explained that the idea of creating this TV program arose from the lack of face-to-face events in the region. The spread of COVID-19 has forced many industry fairs and training congresses to postpone their face-to-face meetings, making it difficult for customers to interact directly with their physical security solution providers and learn about new technological solutions.
"In the last year, we missed the opportunity to meet face-to-face with our customers," said Ricardo Pulido, Director of Sales and Business Development in the Latin America and Caribbean region in Johnson Controls' security products business. "We believe this event will provide us with a unique opportunity to interact with our customers to tell them about the latest technologies we launched in the last year."
The program format will include a virtual building tour to show how Johnson Controls' security products work in specific environments, such as receptions, access doors and control centers. The TV show will cover a variety of products that are part of the company's portfolio of access control and video systems and showcase solutions that use wireless, integrated, AI- and cloud technologies to monitor access control, as well as virtual credential solutions.
The live broadcast will be divided into two segments of one hour each: the first hour will focus on the video surveillance market and the second hour will focus on the access control market. Each segment will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
In addition, the TV broadcast will feature an interactive gaming experience, in which attendees will be able to win an Amazon gift card. At the end of the program, all attendees will enter a raffle to win an Illustra Essentials camera and an annual plan, which are worth $500.
