International. Dahua Technology reported that Vanderbilt International has become the 50th member of its technology partner program. Vanderbilt International's ACTpro solution brings expertise to the Dahua ECO Partner Program and takes access control to the next level with video surveillance integration. Both companies hope to enhance their partnership and explore future developments together.
The Dahua ECO Partner Program was launched in June 2020. Since then, global and local teams have been committed to building a smart ecosystem with technology partners. "End users, system integrators and distributors can already feel the impact on industries," says Peter Pan, director of Dahua Technology's Global Technology Partner Alliance. "Together with our ECO partners, we can provide the right solution to your demands. It's great to have Vanderbilt International by your side in sectors like healthcare, education, retail, government and others. We are excited to create more value together."
ACTpro is Vanderbilt International's access control system that has a wealth of features and integrations. The addition of Dahua complements a broad set of integrations and allows users to play live video or recorded video associated with a door through Dahua's solutions. Ross Wilks, chief marketing officer at Vanderbilt International, expands on the value of this: "If an event occurred last week in which a door was forcibly opened, the operator can right-click on the event in the ACTpro software and simply play back the Dahua System video recording."
This allows for a more accurate examination of the video system in relation to the access control event. It also eliminates the operator's need to visit the control room to retrieve footage, as it can be viewed directly on ACTpro. This, of course, provides an extra layer of convenience to system users.
