International. Datapath, a manufacturer of video processing solutions, confirmed its integration with Genetec's software portfolio.
Datapath said it has fully integrated its renowned WallControl 10 management software into the Genetec Security Center to provide integrated control into the video wall.
Genetec's Security Center has the power to manage access control, video surveillance, and automatic license plate recognition for communications, intrusion detection, and analytics, all through unified command and control and cloud connectivity.
Available for Q4 applications, Datapath's video wall controllers can now be managed directly from the Genetec Security Center interface thanks to the new integration. This allows operators to easily control the video wall system directly from their daily security application, eliminating the need to learn a new software package and allowing operators to focus without distractions on their primary goals. You can now change fonts and screen content from a single interface, rather than switching apps.
Matthew Tibbitt, Product Manager at Datapath, said: "Datapath's systems and technology have been deployed in thousands of control rooms and security suites around the world. The ability to deliver content to video walls at scale is critical for functional teams that need to combine information to see and respond to the big picture. By combining WallControl 10 with Security Center, we have managed to make life much easier for both genetec users and administrators. Users don't need to be trained in a new and unknown app, and they can do their job and interact with the video wall from a single app."
