The new compact Omnikey 5127CK base module is the latest addition to the Omnikey family that enables system integrators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other partners to integrate RFID technology into devices with little physical space, to accurately authenticate people, reduce fraud and protect sensitive contactless data.
The new base module uses standard interfaces which makes it ideal for integration into restricted spaces and battery-powered devices. It allows you to use countless devices, from portable devices, tablets, PCs to keyboards, displays, monitors and kiosks in a wide range of applications for numerous vertical markets.
The Omnikey 5127CK features modular certification for wireless devices, efficient power management (USB sleep/resume and remote activation modes) and external, non-integrated, HF/LF and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) antennas or offers the option to design custom antennas that meet specific requirements.
For maximum interoperability, it supports numerous low- and high-frequency credential technologies within a single device and includes Apple's Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) app to support credentials in Apple Wallet. It is also compatible with the latest mobile access solutions via NFC or BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), as well as iCLASS Seos, iCLASS SE, HID Prox, MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2 credential technologies.
