Colombia. The organization of the International Security Fair of Bogotá confirmed the change of dates for the event that will now be held from October 20 to 23 in Corferias.
The organizers of this fair space explained that the change of dates is due to the development of COVID-19, trusting that by that time the situation of the virus has already been mitigated. "During the past weeks we have avoided many changes that prevented us from clearly communicating to exhibitors and visitors how the programming of our fair would be, always thinking about what would be best for the industry in these times of global crisis, and as a solution for business continuity," says Patricia Acosta, Director of the event.
Patricia Adds that "COVID-19 has changed our lives, but we will have to return to the new normal, we have a new date for the fair that we hope will help the reactivation that we all need. The date of October 20 to 23, 2020 allows us to distance ourselves a little from the pandemic that by then we hope has already been overcome, as well as the restrictions on assembly and movement of people."
The Director of the event is also confident that fairs are an important space to reactivate business: "We believe positively that fairs are an inexhaustible source of business, and that in times of market weakness they can contribute to the recovery of the sectors. We trust that our contribution as a fair will accompany the reactivation of the sector and we reiterate our commitment to the industry".
