International. Björn Lidefelt is the new CEO and President of HID Global, who comes to the company after having worked as commercial director of Assa Abloy, HID's parent company.
At Assa Abloy, she oversaw the brand's strategies, communications and business development; In addition, the executive has extensive experience in international marketing and sales, having spent nine years in the Asia Pacific market, including the countries of China and Malaysia.

Björn holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from Linköping University, Sweden, with a specialization in computer science and marketing. Lidefelt succeeds Stefan Widing, who led HID Global for more than four years.
