Genetec showed how to achieve a complete administration and operation of the security systems of a store or commercial establishment from a single platform and how retail companies can take advantage of their security system to increase the profitability of the business.

The inclusion of static and dynamic maps allows you to geolocate all installed security devices for easy access. In the event of an incident in the store, such as a robbery, the threat level functionality can be activated, which allows with just one click to access the live video from the map, change the recording to higher resolutions, activate alarms and control the opening and blocking of doors.
Likewise, Genetec's Mobile application allows guards who are on the floor to use their mobile devices to make video transmissions, voice and messaging to the monitoring center for immediate interaction and collaboration.
Additionally, it was also shown how the dynamic information panels that are included in this solution allow to see statistics in real time, such as the number of active alarms, people in the store, connected and disconnected cameras, the cybersecurity index of the system, among others.
On the other hand, in the business intelligence part, another advantage for retail stores is that through the application of advanced video analytics included in Genetec Retail Sense, senior management can make informed decisions in a much more efficient way to improve the customer experience and increase sales. Through a single dashboard of information with real-time metrics, managers of various departments such as operations, security, marketing and sales, can know the flow of people during the day, have better control and management of payment boxes to avoid long lines, estimate conversion rates, as well as analyze how people move and the behavior of customers inside.
