International. Johnson Controls released the latest version of Tyco's EntraPass security management software, which offers new features such as expanded auditing features and other enhancements that seek to optimize the user experience.
To streamline auditing and troubleshooting, EntraPass users can run audit reports based on cards, components, and operators, including a detailed report on who made changes to a card or component and when changes were made. This will help meet corporate and regulatory requirements. Cardholder information fields have been expanded to include at least 20 editable fields (Corporate Edition), including a "UniqueID" field to improve import/export.
In addition, the advances in backup options in this latest version are designed to avoid any errors or conflicts between versions in the backup process and thus offer a smooth operation.
It is also easy to access and verify user-level information. Administrators can now easily view the latest cardholder messages about an access, card, or event, know when the cardholder's secondary access level has expired, and stop using paper by saving access levels and links directly to PDF.
EntraPass now also supports up to eight Assa abloy wireless locks via the KT-1 access controller, reducing installation costs and offering support for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter.
