Mexico. According to the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, violence in Mexico reached record figures in the first three months of 2019, where the following stand out:
- From January to March, 8,493 intentional homicides were registered throughout Mexico, an increase of 9.60% compared to the same period in 2018.
- 2018 is considered the most violent year in the country's history with 33,518 murders.
- The growth in the number of kidnappings has led to multiple murders such as that of the student of the University of Pedregal Norberto Ronquillo.
In addition to this increase, the government policies of the current administration are generating an environment of disinvestment and have been motivating the state auxiliary police to take over this function; a situation observed in some states such as Morelos, where they are not issuing permits for the provision of private security services, even when companies comply with the requirements established in their legislation.
AS A representative of private security at the national level, he says in a statement that he has the responsibility to let society know the actions he is taking to positively impact this problem as an auxiliary to public security.
With this objective, ASUME will carry out in an alliance with the Communication Council through its Executive President, Mr. Salvador Villalobos Gómez. With this agreement, ASUME will have a strategic ally for the promotion of campaigns of national interest through the different media so that Mexicans know first-hand the contribution of private security under the Leadership of the General Coordinator, Armando Zúñiga Salinas.
