TRENDnet expands its PoE product line with two 4PPoE Gigabit switches and a 4PPoE injector, which will support the recently ratified 802.3bt standard, with up to 90W of power per port, allowing savings in equipment costs and installation times by having power over existing Ethernet cables.
These switches include 4PPoE ports, which support up to 90W of power per port, and PoE+ ports that support up to 30W of power per port. Both 4PPoE Gigabit switches include dedicated SFP slots to provide support for long-distance fiber networks, allowing connection to network PoE devices, such as wireless access points, PTZ cameras and other IP cameras, VoIP phone systems, IPTV set-top boxes, access controls, among others.
In addition, the IEEE 802.3bt standard now enables PoE support on 10GBASE-T connections, expanding available bandwidth and improving overall network performance.
The equipment with this technology are the TPE-UG102g switch with 10 ports and capacity of 20Gbps, the TPE-UG182g of 18 ports and capacity of 36Gbps, and the TPE-119GI injector that supplies power up to 90W, capable of converting a non-PoE Gigabit port into a Gigabit UPoE port, and supports PoE devices up to a distance of 100 meters.
