Version v.10 of the SecurOS video management system features the FaceX facial recognition solution that significantly expands the ability to recognize faces along with facial expressions accurately from different camera angles in various lighting conditions.
FaceX compares captured images to databases of well-known people, or faces captured from video footage, expanding the use of facial recognition to search for people during ongoing events, comparing them to multiple watch lists and a virtually unlimited database of facial images.
The solution also supports multi-factor authentication for implementation with access control systems, and can be used in retail environments and sports fields to identify in real time any visitor who is on a "blacklist", in schools and campuses, and identification of "persons of interest" in courthouses, airports and other safe areas.
