Méxicio. Boon Edam Inc. announced the presentation during Expo Seguridad Mexico of its latest access control solutions, including its security revolving doors, full-height turnstiles and some of its optical turnstiles. One of these will be in operation within the fair, to be held on May 7, 8 and 9 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City, to show how it is possible to prevent intruders and unauthorized entry into all types of facilities in Latin America.
"The main challenge is insecurity; we are increasingly concerned about some leakage in our facilities, and examples of this can be active shooters, cyber threats, violence at work, etc.", says the Business Development Manager of Boon Edam for Mexico, Claudio Rubio Marmori.
To cope with this, the company has developed the Tourlock 180+90 security revolving door, exhibited in the previous version of Expo Seguridad Mexico and that during the last year has been very well received by global companies that are part of the Fortune 1000 list, as well as different government buildings.
In this edition, visitors will also be able to contemplate the standardized ceiling sensors of this door, which detect and prevent unauthorized entry, in addition to the optional StereoVision 2 detection system that adds an additional layer of security.
Precisely, the three main entrances of the event will be equipped with optical turnstiles of the company. On this occasion, several lanes of the Speedlane Lifeline Open will be highlighted at each entrance of the Expo.
The Speedlane Lifeline series is a line of modern, intuitive and energy-saving optical turnstiles. With the thinnest cabinets in the industry (Swing model), this Lifeline series gives an elegant look at the lobbies. LED lights and activated sensors provide users with the best possible entry experience into the market.
Other demonstration products are the full-height tourniquet, the Turnlock 100. This offers excellent control against intruders in outdoor installations and can also be installed inside, depending on the specific model. Suitable for controlling unsupervised areas, this turnstile is available in a variety of widths, finishes and custom configurations to suit almost all buildings and environments.
Finally, as they approach booth 1518, the public will also encounter the half-height turnstile, the Trilock 75. Tripod turnstiles are the option for effective crowd control, effectively directing users through specified and guarded entry points. Entertainment venues, transit stations, universities and public buildings, among other types of applications, choose tripod turnstiles for their ability to withstand a large volume of users in abusive conditions.
