Mexico. From April 24 to 26, the Practical Course on the Installation of Stationary Fire Protection Pumps - NFPA 20 will be held in Mexicali, Baja California.
Attendees will be able to understand how the 2016 edition of NFPA 20, Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection, applies to the design, installation and commissioning of fire pumps.
The new edition of NFPA 20 has been updated with current industrial requirements and new technologies, including the criteria for fire pumps arranged in series and the requirements that appear for the first time for multiport pumps.
It incorporates practical exercises and classroom interaction with industry experts, who will share concerns, fundamentals for the choice of equipment and the knowledge required in order to have an adequate pumping system that meets the objective of maintaining a high quality standard in the facilities, according to the regulatory requirements of the NFPA.
The safety, confidence and efficiency both in the designs and in the facilities, as well as the review that could be carried out to the pumping systems, will allow the participants a degree of professional enrichment that will facilitate the understanding and deepening of fire protection strategies associated with water extinguishing systems, as part of the set of applications that can be analyzed through this comprehensive training program based on the 2016 edition of NFPA 20.
