The new line of Smart Surveillance Switches Gigabit PoE+ is designed for use with IP cameras and surveillance networks, allowing camera management functions to be easily accessible from the switch interface.
The line includes an 18-port switch (TPE-3018LS) and a 12-port switch (TPE-3012LS). These intelligent surveillance equipment are compatible with Onvif and include both the automatic recovery of the PoE device and the programming of energy, and among its functions, they allow to watch live video, update and modify the access of the administrator and update the firmware of the cameras.
The installation of this equipment adds a layer of fault tolerance, which allows to reduce the time and amount of service and support on site, with automatic recovery function. Thus, in case of communication failure with a connected device, the switch will automatically turn on and off the affected Ethernet port to reduce downtime.
