International. Hanwha Techwin partnered with the company SmartMotion, specialized in technology that develops signage for automation of parking positions and management of public lighting, developed a common project in which the use of a security camera in open spaces converges from a specific analysis that captures the incidence of natural light from the camera.
With this, the intensity of the light of the public lighting is controlled, thus maintaining an efficient light and increasing the saving of electricity consumption, providing the final customer with a more efficient and economical service.
This merger is at the service of several government projects that began to be implemented in Brazil more than a year ago in which SmartMotion, a company with headquarters in this South American country, found in Hanwha Techwin the perfect partner within the market that could provide a camera with an exclusive capacity to meet the demand of these.
"Hanwha has made itself available to collaborate with SmartMotion in the development of specific analytics to meet our demand, providing us with full support for the success of the project," says the CEO of SmartMotion, Paulo Lourador.
In the words of the same CEO, Hanwha has added a lot to the project because "it has a camera with excellent image quality and processing capacity that allowed us to develop our analytics, in addition to a high recording capacity to the limit".
On the other hand, SmartMotion has brought to the association the development of an "innovative and unique" solution, as Lourador indicates, which in his opinion shows that the Hanwha camera can have applications in other areas besides electronic security.
This is reflected in the great savings generated by the operation, because according to the SmartMotion executive the reduction of the cost in the electric energy bill of public lighting can amount in this way up to 90%.
"This project was only viable in this format because Hanwha has a high-performance product and the partnership vision for analytics development that is the main part for the success of this project," he concludes.
