Kantech's new version 8.0 of EntraPass now adds support for American Dynamics NVR network recorders through the EntraPass Go mobile app, and bringing to the fore the short-range Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology of ioSmart readers.

The EntraPass Go app now offers multi-factor identification for cardholders, providing additional identity protection with more secure access from the mobile device. In addition, the EntraPass Web interface was redesigned for a better user experience.

The use of BLE allows cardholders with EntraPass Go to use their mobile device as a credential on doors with ioSmart readers.

The software is available in three versions: Special Edition for a single workstation; Corporate Edition for multiple workstations with 50 connections; and Enterprise-grade Global Edition, with up to 128 workstations and 200 connections.
