In the second half of January, 1,900 fixed cameras and 200 mobile domes arrived from China with their corresponding equipment (servers, network equipment, among others). This technology will be used in the border video surveillance system, as announced in 2017 by the Minister of the Ministry, Eduardo Bonomi.
Since December, the technicians of the Secretary of State have installed the equipment and a monitoring center in each of the headquarters of the four departments indicated, as well as the possibility of the images being viewed from the capital. The completion of the work is scheduled for September.
