Version 9.8 of the exacqVision video management system features several enhancements that make it easier to store, analyze, and search video, and supports exacqVision Cloud Drive, the cloud storage solution for critical video surveillance clips.
To meet its goal of providing useful information to users, exacqVision 9.8 supports the Axis Perimeter Defender analytics application, which displays limiting boxes, live object crawling, and metadata for searches.
This helps strengthen critical video forensics, as well as improves the tracking feature for audits, which makes it possible to more effectively monitor server activities and record more detailed information in the system, for example, which video segments were corroborated and who did it.
Finally, this release adds more power and efficiency to the Enterprise System Manager (ESM) suite of enterprise capabilities. Administrators can now assign highly customized permissions at the device level, whether for software activations or for video, audio, or serial events, to specific user groups via ESM.
