Latin America. Members of the company say it will continue to protect its customers with products and solutions they can trust.
Hanwha Techwin experienced substantial growth during 2018 by increasing sales in major countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Likewise, it reached great projects to develop in this 2019.
As part of the Hanwha Group, one of those outstanding achievements was the completion of an aeronautical factory in Vietnam, a subsidiary of the company in charge of aircraft engine construction. This was confirmed by the chairman of the Hanwha Group, Kim Seung-yeon, during a visit to the facilities on December 7 last year. Right there he took the opportunity to learn about the current state of the Hanwha Techwin subsidiary in the area.
The construction of Hanwha Techwin's subsidiary in Vietnam, carried out over approximately 60,000 m2 of land, began in 2017 to expand its global business and, in early 2018, launched its first mass production.
The Vietnamese government's "friendly policy," flexible labor market, and various logistical channels for import and export through land and neighboring ports, make Bac Ninh Province a perfect place to host Hanwha Techwin's manufacturing subsidiary. Manufactured goods are imported to many crucial regions such as America, Europe and Asia, and sales channels will soon expand globally.
New projections
"Hanwha Techwin showed great performance in 2018, although the year was fraught with a lot of problems both inside and outside the industry. The industry is paying close attention to cybersecurity and deep learning-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology. While deep learning-based AI technologies need improvement, we must continue our development effort as it can be widely applied," said a source from Hanwha Techwin.
"Security will become more crucial as deep learning-based ai technology advances. We, at Hanwha Techwin, believe that providing reliable security is our destiny and responsibility. We will continue to protect our customers with products and solutions they can trust."
In the same sense, the Director of Sales of Hanwha Techwin for Latin America, Alex Pazos, indicated that "in terms of our products, we are doing a lot of research and development, investing in artificial intelligence and analytics that run embedded in the cameras to give a high return on investment."
