The new minidomes of the Wisenet Q Flateye IR line have been designed for humid environments and where condensation can occur due to temperature differences, with a flat surface in front of the target, instead of a dome, reducing the diffusion of infrared reflections caused by humidity.
The 2-megapixel Flateye Wisenet QNE-6080RV and 4-megapixel QNE-7080RV minidomos integrate IR functionality, ensuring that objects can be recognized at night at a distance of up to 30 meters. A motorized varifocal lens of 3.1x (3.2 – 10 mm) allows for wide-angle monitoring.
In addition, they are also equipped with blur detection, which generates an alert if the camera is out of focus or fogging occurs, making the corresponding corrections in the blurred images captured in that type of conditions.
This equipment is designed to operate in challenging environmental conditions, such as in food processing plants. It also offers benefits for integrators, as they do not need to initially remove the dome and then mount it during the installation process, saving time in assembly.
