Platinum Tools' Net Prowler Cabling and Network Tester is a multi-function tester making it easy to do time-consuming tasks such as setting up and troubleshooting networks.
The Net Prowler offers a full set of features including network mapping, link testing, IPv4 and IPv6 ping testing, DHCP testing, DNS detection, and URL ping testing. It also includes TDR technology to check and track cable integrity for openings, short circuits, incorrect cables, split pairs, and inverted pinouts, as well as to measure the cable length of network, telephone, and coaxial cables.
In addition, to track test results for internal review or archiving purposes, a USB interface connects the Net Prowler to the PC driver application, allowing you to download the test results and export them as CSV or PDF files for printing.
Among other features, the device supports up to eight TESTS and ID remotes for network and phone cables, can generate selectable tones on selected pins for use with tone plotters, and performs color graphic mapping.
