New and improved features in VideoXpert v2.5 include a rules engine that gives CCTV operators greater control by defining responses to specific triggers that control VX behaviors. When choosing a camera or device, and an event (such as motion or an offline camera), you can set a response as two PTZ presets, bookmark video, block video, start pattern, send video or monitor, or run a custom script.
In addition, the software features Pelco Camera Link technology that allows you to link specific cameras to maximize viewing capabilities. It combines Optera's Panomersive expertise with Spectra Enhanced's PTZ capabilities to track critical areas in real time. Combined with the new ROI bounding box, users gain unprecedented ability to stay on top of critical events.
Other features include intelligent Analytics overlay that enhances an operator's ability to identify customer-defined events by placing a visual overlay in the exact place where it occurs.
