Brazil. Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), recently announced that executive Andrei Junqueira has been linked as its new Channel Business Manager for Brazil; the arrival of Andrei is aligned with the growth that the brand has had in the South American country.
Thanks to his extensive experience in the industry, the Brazilian executive will be committed to supporting local partners in their projects, as far as Milestone's tools are concerned, which go far beyond video management software.
"One of my main tasks will be to make the most of existing channels and achieve an expansion supported by a greater education of integrators and additional channels. I will also be in charge of training end users against the solutions that Milestone brings to the market. The idea is to work together with distributors and integrators," Andrei explained.
According to the new Channel Business Manager, despite the challenges represented by the country's current economy, the Brazilian market has great potential; "Milestone remains the number one in the VMS industry in the world, however in Brazil there is still room to grow, as the video surveillance industry is entering a moment of maturity," he said.
Undoubtedly, the current one is a conjunctural moment for the Brazilian economy and the partners of the industry seek to retain their customers, who are always looking for new technologies. And how can you build public loyalty? Junqueira is categorical in asserting that this is achieved with good products and solid companies, so he sees great potential for Milestone in Brazil, at least for the next few years.
Precisely this promising future and the work scheme of the organization -framed in the joint work with strategic partners and allies- were the reasons that motivated this executive to join the company.
