International. Hikvision has released its 2017 annual financial results report, which shows 31.22% growth in overall revenue, with sales revenue increasing from 31.93 trillion Chinese yuan in 2016 to 41.91 trillion Chinese yuan in 2017. These combined data demonstrate a 26.77% increase in operating income.
These financial results were achieved thanks to several factors including: optimized R&D systems and processes, development of solutions for vertical industries, and customization of solutions aligned with the changing needs of the market. Enhanced product delivery capabilities, strengthened sales and service networks have also contributed to the company's success in 2017.
Keen Yao, Vice President of Hikvision's International Business Center comments: "Our investments in R&D, both in IoT technology and video surveillance, allow us to innovate in solutions and technology on an ongoing basis, in order to provide products adapted to the needs of our partners and customers worldwide."
In addition to large investments in R&D, Hikvision has set up a three-tier service system with a global customer service center, regional customer support in subsidiary offices, and customer support stations authorized by Hikvision.
"The new service model allows us to better help our customers around the world, through multidimensional services ranging from product delivery, project delivery, software development, systems operation, to maintenance and support, among others," adds Keen Yao.
