Mexico. Milestone Systems will announce during Expo Seguridad Mexico the details and benefits as far as integration of its video management platform is concerned, in the same way it will present to the Latin public the XProtect 2018 R1, its most recent launch.
A team of professionals from the company together with some strategic partners – the companies AllGo Vision and Rasilient – will be sharing with visitors the news that the brand has for this year and delivering information about the usefulness of being part of the Milestone community.
"We want to demonstrate to each attendee the benefits of having a platform with which they can take their different projects to another level, this through the approach that is given to integration and interaction with other solutions," said Juan Carlos George, sales manager of Milestone Systems for Latin America.
The public of Expo Seguridad will be able to know the XProtect 2018 R1, the first update of the year of this VMS that was launched a few days ago and that among other attributes, offers hardware acceleration with video decoding, allowing to take advantage of the power of several NVIDIA graphics cards in the Milestone Smart Client; this means that a user will be able to increase their efficiency by viewing more cameras per workstation, freeing up resources for other tasks, while also having the possibility of viewing more streams in HD or Ultra HD with less load on the CPU.
Another of the functionalities offered by the recent update is the possibility of connecting the VMS system to any TV compatible with DLNA (alliance for the digital lifestyle in network), allowing the user to view videos captured from the cameras without having to have a Smart Client.
Additionally, the company will be showcasing its popular Husky M20 network video recorder (NVR), an essential component for the easy implementation of enterprise video solutions, enabling automatic camera detection and automatic assignment of IP addresses, from camera storage to hard drives to load balance and from camera to a display on the Xprotect.
For this year, the Milestone stand (1641) will have a central platform, where the equipment and modules around which the different partners will be exhibited.
"The objective is to show the audience our products and in turn promote our allies and their solutions," explained Juan C. George.
Expo Seguridad México will be held from April 24 to 26 of this year, at the CitiBanamex Center in the Mexican capital.
