The KBC EECF8-GN3-R switch is an Ethernet over coaxial cable (EoC) device that has 8 coaxial ports with PoC and 3 Ethernet ports by 10/100/1000M, allowing to connect up to 8 PoC units EECF1-LS1-T-MN-B of the brand.
The transmitter receives power through the coaxial cable and supports variable data transfer rates>50 Mbps (300 m), depending on cable distance and signal quality.
In addition, the equipment provides PoC management that allows the operator to turn on or off any of the coaxial channels remotely and its Plug and Play design ensures easy installation without electrical adjustments.
Additionally, it has a transmission protection design so that there is no output power when the transmitter end is not connected.
Features of the equipment include LED indicators that show the operating status of the unit, it supports PoE+ up to 300m based on coaxial quality and voltage applied to the coaxial cable (48~57VDC) and features overload and short circuit protection.
