Pedro Duarte has been in the industry for about 25 years. Before joining Avigilon, he has held different and important positions in the electronic security industry, his most recent position was his time at Samsung Techwin (now Hanwha Techwin) where he was since 2008, Pedro also served, among others, for more than eight years as General Manager for Latin America of GE Security, a subsidiary of General Electric and the world's leading manufacturer of electronic safety equipment.
Pedro has been characterized by generating high growth for the different companies he led, while maintaining high profitability. Their ability to identify consumer needs, develop and train teams with extraordinary leadership, and their multilingual and multicultural expertise contribute greatly to their success.
Pedro is known for being able to visualize products and services that can be achieved through the deployment of cutting-edge technology to address or create market opportunities and to consolidate and implement marketing strategies.
