Gianni's GK1270/1290 series surface mount locks are products created with a spring latch for sleeping cars and are UL 1034 approved for theft resistance (BP10269). They are designed to be installed on surfaces without the need to cut the frame for installation.
They feature an optional latch monitor and stainless steel housing, offering strength and durability with edged output devices.
Among other product features are 12 or 24 VDCs with selectable field, it is reversible fail-safe and handleless, and can be adjusted horizontally. It has a static force of 680 kg (1,500 lbs) and dynamic force of 70 ft/lb. Its UL-tested resistance rating is 250,000 cycles and factory 1,000,000 cycles.
