Latin America. The Alas Awards for Security in Latin America and the Caribbean chose the winners in public and private projects in May of this year.
In this edition the third place in the Private Projects went to "Panama Pacifico" by Sicon Estrategies de Panama, a work that consisted of the design, implementation and security operation of the Panama Pacific Economic Area
The Integral Security Center (CSI) is where the permanent monitoring of the installed products is concentrated: fire and intrusion alarms, smart domes, security cameras, help points, access control, among others; but it also has a team of operators, urban guards and supervisors who work in coordination with public security units and the guards of private companies hired by customers.
The design based on the concept of Security Ring System, puts the residences as a central axis to protect, continuing with the external areas, the perimeter of the place and finally the general environment protected by government agencies.
With a simple integrated panel for residential use, from which you can control fire and theft detectors. The residences are equipped with 360° motion sensors, thermal sensors, smoke sensors, sirens and control panels.
With the ability to intelligently monitor the streets, accesses, public areas of walks and alarms in residences, it aims to reduce the risk of "emptying" of residences, the entry of drug dealers and the risk of kidnappings.
The main objective of the implementation of the system is to attract and promote investment, generate employment and strengthen the country's economy, by offering a context of well-being and social trust. All by reducing criminal events by deterrence, active video monitoring from the Control Center of alarms by motion detection at night and real-time assistance in the Help-points with video and two-way audio.
