Fujitsu announces the availability of a series of new fully updated Primergy and Primequest servers, designed for the new business demands of the digital age and incorporating the latest family of scalable processors, Intel® Xeon®. In addition, this range of servers from the multinational introduces new designs of cutting-edge systems to offer optimized performance and configuration flexibility for a wide variety of compute, storage, networking and server management requirements.
Primequest 3800e and Primequest 3400e
Fujitsu's latest series of servers is represented by the Fujitsu PRIMEQUEST 3800 B/E and PRIMEQUEST 3400E systems. They deliver superior performance and optimized efficiency for the most demanding mission-critical environments. They also drastically simplify the server architecture for this computing, as it is delivered in a new form factor of 5U for the 3800B and 7U for the 3800E. They provide improved performance in a significantly smaller size, resulting in lower energy consumption, while reducing the environmental footprint in the data center with significant cost savings. In addition, the mission-critical features of these systems include advanced RAS features that provide complete confidence in the platform, even in peak uptimes, making these servers a robust and cost-effective solution for mission-critical applications. Including UNIX-critical workloads and UNIX migrations and also high-volume workloads, high-value workloads such as online transaction processing (OLTP), batch, database applications, and real-time analytics.
Primergy tx2550 m4 and Primergy rx2520 m4
There are also new additions to the PRIMERGY x86 server range. The PRIMERGY TX2550 M4, an advanced dual-socket model in tower format and the PRIMERGY RX2520 M4, dual-socket input range in rack format, are introduced. Both are powerful and flexible solutions for a wide range of technology applications, including the use of collaboration platforms and workloads that have storage-intensive requirements.

Customized solutions are available for every requirement, thanks to the wide range of Fujitsu PRIMERGY and PRIMEQUEST servers, from complete virtualization and the execution of mission-critical applications, through archiving or printing. Offering different size and shape, rack or tower factors, all PRIMERGY M4 series servers provide customizable compute, memory, storage and networking options.
All of the company's new servers provide simplified, remote management of the equipment throughout its lifecycle through Fujitsu ServerView® Suite that integrates the iRMC S5 remote management controller.
