Designed for easy use, INTREPID introduces UniZone, a high-performance autonomous perimeter sensor designed to reliably and cost-effectively protect smaller critical infrastructure sites that are vulnerable to terrorist attacks, sabotage, asset theft or liability risk.
Based on Southwest Microwave's field-proven MicroPoint smart sensor technology, UniZone protects up to 200 linear meters up close, and consists of a UniZone Detection Sensor mounted on the fence or in a nearby control room, and a single MicroPoint sensor cable fixed to the fence or barbed wire to detect cut/climb attempts.
UniZone employs advanced Point Impact Discrimination to monitor activity along the cable in 1.1-meter increments, to analyze the characteristics of each event and reliably detect outage or escalation intrusion attempts while ignoring harmless weather events. Superior intelligence system and powerful digital signal processing successfully mitigate the risk of compromising the site while offering the lowest rate of false alarms in the industry.
