International. MOBOTIX, the world's largest manufacturer of megapixel video surveillance network systems, has appointed Thomas Lausten as the company's new CEO.
Since June 15, 2017, Thomas Lausten has completed the MOBOTIX Board of Directors. Until now, this Board consisted of Oliver Gabel (CTO), Tristan Haage (CSO) and Klaus Kiener (CFO). At its meeting on March 27, 2017, the Board of Directors appointed Thomas Lausten as the new CEO.
Lausten has experience in both large groups and medium-sized companies. Among others, he has been Managing Director of Sales at Siemens, while at ADI Global Distribution he was responsible for the Nordic region as Managing Director. In addition, as Vice President of EMEA, Lausten has contributed greatly to the success of Milestone Systems over the past few years. MOBOTIX has been able to get to know him through the tasks he has performed so far.

Following the dismissal of Klaus Gesmann in February 2016 for medical reasons, the company has been led by all three members of the Board of Directors, although without a Presidency. With Thomas Lausten, the Board of Directors will have four members. This change took effect on June 15.
