Latin America. The Q6055-C camera provides high video quality in environments with high ambient temperatures and solar radiation. With its built-in active cooling system, it can operate at temperatures up to 75°C (167°F).
It complies with the high military standard MIL-STD-810G, ensuring reliable operation in extreme weather conditions, such as sandstorms. It includes a 32x optical zoom with autofocus that, combined with the HDTV 1080p resolution, offers very sharp images. For example, you can read the license plate of a car that is 300 meters away.
Axis Communications introduces AXIS Q6055 - C PTZ network dome camera designed with a solid aluminium housing to withstand temperatures between -20ºC and 75ºC. The MIL-STD-810G temperature control ensures a safe start at temperatures up to - 40ºC. In addition, having IP66, NEMA 4X and IK 10 protection levels, it ensures that the equipment housing will resist both in adverse weather conditions and acts of vandalism or impacts of great magnitude. It is ideal for surveillance at airports, train stations, sports facilities and all kinds of urban surveillance scenarios, where fast, accurate and constant operation is required.
The team integrates a large number of Axis analytical applications
such as automatic search for people or objects, intercom, fence detector, and entry/exit detection. It also includes the Active Gatekeeper tool, which allows the camera to automatically move to a position when motion is detected in an area and track the detected object. These applications enable smarter decision-making about the use of resources, for example in the allocation of persons in charge of surveillance in a facility.
This system features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for challenging lighting conditions and includes Axis Zipstream technology that allows the required bandwidth and storage space to be reduced. In addition, they incorporate a microSD card input that can be used in combination with a microSDXC surveillance card. The Media Converter Switch enables flexible installation of AXIS Q6055-C on a daisy-chained connection to the network using network or fiber optic cables that help reduce the cost of installing cameras over long distances. The media converter switch also allows equipment to connect to external alarm devices via two configurable input/output ports and to a 24V power supply.
