Altronix launched the expansion of its line of flexible eBridge transmission solutions with the eBridge8E, an eight-port EoC managed receiver with an integral PoE+ switch. The new end-to-end solution converts coaxial to IP, combining a PoE+ switch with the EoC receiver into a single integrated unit.
The eBridge8E for Coaxial Ethernet benefits users and distributors alike by reducing installation and equipment costs and improving system performance through an analog infrastructure
The receiver allows the installation of IP devices up to 500m at 25mbps with an upload frequency of 1GB. It supplies 30W of total power per port (240W of total power) and includes comprehensive battery charging for applications that require backup power. The eBridge8E solution also incorporates Altronix's innovative LINQ technology, which enables monitoring, control and reporting of power and diagnostics from anywhere.
