Colombia. The regulations oblige financial institutions to protect all their customer service channels through video surveillance systems that guarantee the storage of images for a minimum period of 8 months.

This regulation requires bank offices and ATMs to record images and keep them for a minimum period of 8 months. In the case of ATMs, in addition, each economic transaction must be associated with the corresponding images to ensure the traceability of operations.}
The Basic Legal Circular (C.E. 029/2014) includes the texts of External Circular 042 of 2012, which already required the storage of all the images captured in ATMS, main accesses to branches and any other spaces in which customers were served.
Likewise, SCATI has a flexible platform that allows it to adapt to other national regulations related to banking security: LOPD (Europe), Seproban (Mexico), Data Protection Laws (Argentina) and Decree 222 (Chile), among others.
