Colombia. With the main objective of attracting greater interest in those attending the International Security Fair Colombia E+S+S (Bogotá, August 19 to 21, 2015), Boon Edam Inc., a leading company in the manufacture of physical access control solutions, will seek to establish a "face-to-face" contact with its users to present the latest technological innovations that the company has to meet their needs.
Jeannette Sweatt, Business Development Manager of the company for Central, South America and the Caribbean, said that Colombia is a country with an economy that has grown and is now more stable, so it is "a great country to do business", while Latin America is a very important market for Boon Edam, and that they consider themselves "pioneers" in optical turnstiles, with an important presence in different countries in the region and participation with these teams in high-profile projects throughout the continent.
The executive explained that for this reason, attending this kind of event allows the company to connect with its customers to know the challenges they must face, so that they can help them solve these problems with solutions suitable for them.
"We have observed that in corporate buildings in Colombia the trend of installing traditional PACS (Physical Access Control Systems) units has been imposed. Likewise, end users are looking for more aesthetic solutions for their entrance doors. That is why we have worked together with our distribution channels in the replacement of traditional tripods with optical rails and providing them with new solutions for access points that are currently not very safe," added Sweatt, who added that this trend has been taking shape a little more than a year ago, similar to how it has happened in Lima and Santiago de Chile.
Within the exhibition they will have during the fair, Boon Edam will include visual samples of its wide range of products, from the lowest level of safety, such as half-body turnstiles, to those with greater protection, such as revolving security doors.
Additionally, they will have literature to share with the attendees and will be attended by three experts from the company: Magdalena Reyes, Business Development Manager for Mexico, Sam Nussman, Technical Specialist for Latin America and Jeannette Sweatt, who will be willing to provide all the information requested by customers.
In addition to the exhibition, Boon Edam will offer two lectures by Jeannette Sweatt, on the STARTSS methodology, to facilitate the decision of users in the process of defining which is the best security product they must acquire to be efficient in the long term, and avoid errors in the purchase of these solutions. The lectures will take place on August 19 at 2:00 PM in Hall 2 and on August 21 at 4:00 PM in Hall 4.
All Boon Edam solutions and literature will be available to all visitors at elstand 1103 during the three days of the event.
