Colombia. In order to demonstrate the benefits of open platform software and open new business opportunities in Colombia and the Andean region, Milestone Systems, the open video management platform (VMS) software company, will once again be at the International Security Fair E+S+S (Bogotá, August 19 to 21) together with its business partners, where it will present its products and solutions for IP video.
The company has participated in the event in the Colombian capital on different occasions, as it is the main gateway to the Andean region, which is of great importance to Milestone. Juan Carlos George, Sales Manager for Mexico, Central and South America, explains that "Colombia is a growing market every year, while Peru has been for many years a pillar in the region in projects" and highlights that thanks to local support in the region, there are increasingly "better opportunities to show the strengths of open platform software".
It should be noted that on this occasion, the company will seek to present its solutions to end users, in addition to trying to "understand their needs and offer them the best solutions in the market" through integrators, who are the link between the company and users, says George.
Milestone will showcase its flagship software, the XProtect Corporate with the LPR module, the ACM access control module and the M30 network video recorder (NVR) of the outstanding Milestone Husky series.
Finally, the executive indicates that Milestone's commitment to the development of VMS in the region is the "continuous education to users about the benefits of the open platform, allowing more and more companies and users to have control of their video management projects", a goal that is only possible by offering a consistent business model over the years.
To learn about Milestone Systems' hardware and software solutions, visit the stands of the company's business partners: 118 from Axis, 424 from Anixter, 112 from Vivotek, and 1015 from Optex, during the three days of the event, where spokespersons Yovanni Beltrán and Edgardo López will be present.
