Peru. The Municipality of Lima, through Pro Transporte, will install surveillance cameras outside the Metropolitano buses.
This with the aim of recording any incident or criminal act that occurs along its route through the avenues Túpac Amaru, Alfonso Ugarte and Paseo de la República, announced Mayor Luis Castañeda.
These teams will be added to the 415 cameras inside the Metropolitano stations and at traffic lights along the segregated corridor.
"These days we are preparing Buses of the Metropolitano that will carry external cameras, in the front, back and sides. In such a way that it will be possible to monitor what is happening and give notice to the police," Castañeda said.
