Mexico. Milestone Systems will exhibit for the first time at Expo Seguridad two of the three models of the renowned IP NVR (network video recorders) of the Husky line with expanded storage capacity, added to the recently launched hybrid version, which can be used in installations with analog cameras, a common situation in Latin American countries.
During Expo Seguridad, visitors to the Mexican market will be able to know for the first time on display in this country the M10, M30 and M30 hybrid models of the Husky line NVRs, which recently received improvements such as the increase in more than double their original storage capacity, which integrated with the powerful VMS of Milestone, they are a suitable solution for the most demanding facilities such as government organizations, allowing recordings to be stored for a longer time, with a higher quality.
Among other novelties at the event, visitors will learn about the new Access Control Module (ACM), as well as the new version of the renowned video management platform XProtect Corporate. All these solutions are part of the company's objectives for Expo Seguridad, such as promoting its open platform and offering alternatives to its integrator partners on "all the possibilities they can have, by using Milestone as a solution for their customers," says Juan Carlos George, Sales Manager for Mexico at Milestone Systems.
On the other hand, Mexico is one of the countries where Milestone has a strong positioning, where significant investments have been made to build engineering and support teams, in addition to sales, which also serve the Latin American market, explains George. "Mexico is a very important country, with more than 50% of the income obtained in Latin America. Among the highlights is that in the first quarter of 2015 we saw growth at the same rate as the first quarter of last year, that means there are opportunities in this region," and stressed that "it is encouraging to see this growth."
It should be noted that the Milestone team is also growing in other countries in the region, with the hiring of Euripides Lopez Magalhães in Brazil, who will be the new Business Channels Manager for the Sao Paulo and Northeast region of Brazil. Juan Carlos George highlights that "we were fortunate to find a person with vast experience within the security and telecommunications industry, and this hiring will help strengthen our presence in Brazil to better serve the Brazilian market."
Finally, the executive indicates that users who plan to install a video system for the first time will find in Milestone's open platform the possibility of selecting a greater number of devices for their applications, also giving integrators a wider margin of choice for their projects. "Milestone currently has more than 100 supported brands, including more than 4,000 IP devices and every two months a new support package is released to the market for more devices certified with ONVIF and PSIA," he concludes.
All of these solutions will be available at Milestone Systems booth 2317 at Expo Seguridad.
