International. The Datacard group and Entrust announced a new company name, logo and corporate brand identity at the Cartes Secure Connexions 2014 conference in Paris, France.
Entrust Datacard debuts as the new corporate brand celebrating its decades of industrial experience and the union of the two industry leaders.
Less than a year ago the Datacard group acquired Entrust. The new corporate brand aims to preserve the value and legacy of each predecessor company, and also to demonstrate the commitment to anticipate the challenges that arise before customers, and solve them. "The world is changing, it's more connected, more mobile and more empowered than ever," said Todd Wilkinson, the company's president and chief executive officer. "Our new brand and corporate identity is a reflection of this evolution and the changing markets we serve. We understand how the connected world is evolving and work tirelessly to anticipate trends as we define how change will affect our customers."
Although the company is launching a new corporate identity, it will preserve the value of the brands in the Datacard and Entrust product portfolios. In addition to existing offerings, the company is developing new solutions for applications aimed at businesses, consumers and citizens, combining Datacard and Entrust technologies.
