Mexico. Axis Communications was named one of the best workspaces (small and medium-sized) by Great Place to Work, in its 2014 annual Best Small & Medium Workplaces list, also published in Fortune magazine.
Ranked #16, this is the first time Axis has received this honor. Divided into two categories, Small (25-250 employees) and Medium (250-999 employees), the list has distinguished companies with exceptional workspace cultures over the past eleven years.
Competing against hundreds of companies, Axis participated in a rigorous selection process, which included an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about the company's benefits programs and practices. Great Place to Work evaluates each application using its unique five-dimensional methodology of a good work: credibility, respect, justice, pride and camaraderie.
"We not only celebrate winning the Best Small and Medium Workplaces award for the first time, but also our 30th anniversary in this business," said Fredrik Nilsson, General Manager, for Axis Communications, Inc. All employees also receive quarterly commissions and annual bonuses based on sales growth goals.
