Mexico. In order to optimize its business and compete with greater presence in the market of video surveillance solutions, Panasonic Mexico restructured its marketing scheme in this category.
The initiative seeks the creation of a new channel formed by project integrators that respond to the technological, financial and operational capacity needs that allow the focus on large-scale facilities.
This change, in which it is left behind in work with the conventional distribution channel, responds to the trend of the Japanese company that seeks to focus its efforts on the creation and offer of value solutions above the simple commercial displacement of products.
Currently, Panasonic's new channel of video surveillance solutions has 31 integrating companies, located in the main cities of Mexico. These companies meet a profile in which characteristics such as the level of technical specialization in their area, high knowledge in video surveillance systems and IP networks, human and technological capacity to have areas of engineering, installation and service, in addition to the financial capacity to face the development of high-level solutions.
During this first stage, projected at 18 months, the efforts of Panasonic and its integrator channel are aimed at very specific vertical markets among which the energy industry, retail and the government sector stand out.
