International. Like many others that preceded it, the Shakelli Dairy Company dairy plant started modestly in Tabriz, then a town in northwestern Iran, and which today exceeds one and a half million inhabitants.
The sustained development of this company during the last century allowed it to supply more and more markets throughout the country with its food products, such as butter, honey, whey and cheese. 1952 was a milestone for the company because the continued growth of its operations forced it to move its operations to the country's dynamic capital, Tehran. The Shakelli products that are offered today in countless stores in the country began to be produced 50 years ago, in 1964. By 1978 operations had been fully mechanized.
As the leader of the dairy industry in Iran, it is not surprising that Shakelli Dairy Company owns many equipment and assets, such as large automated production lines in 4 plants. To maintain this privileged place, the company's management had to make important decisions, such as updating the old factory, including its equipment, with a modern surveillance system. The initiative started from Raymand Pardazesh Pasargad Co., systems integrator of PFN Technology in Tehran, and the first phase of the project was implemented jointly with VIVOTEK, whose products were chosen for their unsurpassed quality and competitive prices.
96 cameras of 12 models were installed, among which FE8172V, IP8372, IP8362 and FD8335 stand out.
The FE8172V model was chosen due to its fisheye lens with 360° coverage, making it an ideal ceiling camera and the perfect solution for medium-sized environments. The IP8372 model was chosen for the monitoring of access and exit points, where there is intense activity of large trucks. Thanks to its ability to capture even the license plate number of vehicles, this camera with WDR technology and 5 megapixel resolution does not miss any detail. For those places with low lighting conditions, the IP8362 model is ideal.
In addition to its excellent image quality and night vision capability, this camera is designed for external environments and can be easily mounted on walls and fences. For the monitoring of interior spaces in trucks and trailers, the FD8335H model was installed on the loading platforms. Thanks to its WDR Pro technology, this camera is able to offer clear images of what happens inside large vehicles, whatever the lighting conditions.
This allows Shakelli's safety team to monitor all loading and unloading movements of the trucks.
To improve and centralize video management, VIVOTEK's professional VAST centralized management software was adopted. With intuitive functions and numerous features, the 96 cameras are controlled in a hierarchical system structure, allowing effective monitoring, recording, playback, as well as handling sudden events.
