Mexico. After the wave of assaults that have been registered to several businesses located in the center of the city of Veracruz, the councilor Juan Gabriel Montes de Oca, confirmed that the project to install video surveillance cameras in that area of the municipality is already advanced.
He pointed out that it is a strategy to strengthen surveillance and prevent more robberies such as those that have recently been presented to several shops in the historic center, explaining that for now they are only waiting for a federal participation to announce the project.
"It will be announced precisely the project, the amount and the benefits that it will have in terms of security precisely this project that is going to land (...) it is a matter of only the dates of a federal participation, but it is already in a position to present itself in the coming days through the mayor," he said.
