Colombia. With the aim of reducing the insecurity rates that are registered on the roads of the department of Caldas, the administration will present a project to install security cameras to the Ministry of the Interior and Justice.
Currently municipalities such as La Dorada, Supía, Villamaría and Chinchiná have cameras of this type installed in downtown areas and sites identified as unsafe.
The delegate of the Ministry of the Interior for Caldas, José Fernando Ramírez, assured that security councils have been held in the west of the department where it was requested by the mayors of Marmato, Riosucio, Supía and La Merced, the implementation of security measures in the access roads to these populations.
The official said that the installation of security cameras in the road sectors where problems of this nature have been identified will correct this problem.
