Argentina. In order to prevent and stop the advance of crime, the Municipality of Venado Tuerto is advancing in the project to implement the video surveillance service. The Secretary of Planning and Management, Daniel Dabove, said that the local government plans to call for tenders for the purchase of 32 cameras that will be placed in different sectors.
The official raised the need to launch this service that already works, successfully, in some cities of Santa Fe. The municipal project also includes the creation of a monitoring center that will be adapted to the video surveillance plan being studied by the province.
Dabove explained that prior to the tender "there will be the advice of a company on the technical aspects of the purchase, such as the acquisition of software, monitoring center, human resources, fiber optics and financing system for this service."
