International. The company Milestone, dedicated to the management of IP video software (VMS), has recently been decorated by the electronic security industry with two important awards.
In the first case, its new version of user interface VMS called Xprotect Smart Client 7 was awarded the Grovies Platinium 2012; likewise, the company was validated days later and for the second consecutive year member of the Segurity50 list.
At the GovSec event held on April 2, 3 and 4 in the city of Washington, the Grovie Awards were presented by Segurity Products magazine.
"Xprotect Smart Client won the award for its ability to meet end-user needs," said Ralph C Jensen, editor-in-chief of Security Products magazine. "It's easier to navigate with functionality optimized for viewing live or recorded video, in response to alarms and export testing."
Shortly after, on April 18, Messe Frankfurt hosted the Segurtity50 summit where it presented the top 50 companies in the physical security industry. In the ranking, based on the financial results of the manufacturers, appeared for the second consecutive year the company Milestone, who expect to maintain this good trend during 2012.
